Daniel Costanza, a twenty-three-year-old residing in New York City, possesses an ardent affection for the theatrical arts. While in secondary education, he participated in various productions, earning classification as a thespian by the distinguished International Thespian Society. While pursuing his degree, Daniel has composed multiple brief scripts, directing and acting in them for his peers. Remarkably, despite the pandemic’s daunting challenges, he shone brightly in his portrayal in two comedy plays; “Forget Fairytales” and “Cyber Cinderella,” both under the pen and direction of Christine Stoddard. In addition, Daniel’s love for music shines through as he actively participates in a band outside of his theatrical engagements.
María Fernanda is a New York based, Houstonian actor. She is a first-generation Mexican-American, born in Mexico City, raised by Mexican Spanish-speaking parents in Houston, Texas. Fernanda has dedicated the past five years to pursuing an acting career both in New York and Houston. “The business is tough, but embracing the life of an artist very rewarding. I don’t think I ever want to give up on it.” She wants to thank her support system for giving her the space to be vulnerable and the strength to keep going. “You know who you are.”
Abigail Gabor (She/They) is excited to be working with Christine Stoddard again after performing in her plays “Clowns & Otters” Forget Fairytales” and “Cyber Cinderella!” Other credits include King Lear (Fool), Godspell (Herb) and Top Girls (Dull Gret, Shona). She also works as a children’s entertainer and haunt actor. They studied theatre at the City College of New York (Macaulay Honors). You can find her on TikTok @abigailgabor. Clay Horwitz is a 24-year-old comedian, writer, and director. His new stand-up show "Vibe Check!" debuted in Spring 2022 and has sold out The Comedy Chateau in Los Angeles. He frequents sold-out clubs all across the world, spanning from the legendary Comedy Store and Hollywood Laugh Factory, to Zanies in Chicago, to the London Underground in Prague, Czech Republic.
Sridhar Maruvada began acting at a very young age. NYC opened Sridhar’s life and career up to stage, film, comedy and Improv. His last step before heading West was the lead role of Navin Srivastava in “Huck & Holden” written by Pulitzer finalist Rajiv Joseph. While in LA, Sridhar adopted the more Director-friendly name “Sid Veda”. Veda became SAG-eligible by booking a national commercial directed by David Fincher with his first audition in Hollywood and then 5 more national ads before landing a 2 year national campaign with MetroPCS called “Tech & Talk”. Sid was Chad for MetroPCS for 2 years and Manavendra in 2 episodes of “Outsourced” (NBC) to give his career/life a tele-supportive theme for the new decade.
Julia Real (she/her) is an actress, singer/songwriter and visual artist from the Jersey shore. She graduated from Muhlenberg College in 2019 with a degree in Theatre and Media & Communications. Since then, she has spent a few years living in Italy, working and studying at Accademia Dell’Arte, a performing arts college in Tuscany. She is so excited to jump back into performing and be a part of Quail Tales!
Jehiny Rodriguez is 19 years old, based in Queens, New York. She is currently a fourth semester AMDA (The American Musical and Dramatic Academy) student, studying Film and TV. She is an aspiring film and theater actor. She recently performed a reading for the Uptown Theater Company for the piece “My Body No choice”. She has performed in many other plays such as “The Hard Knock Lyfe” written by Cris Eli Blak. She is now currently shooting a short film called “The Inside of The Outsiders” written and directed by Elise Feliciano.
India Stachyra (she/her/hers) is an interdisciplinary theatre artist and administrator. She is the founder and producer of Soundscape Theater (@soundscapetheater, soundscapetheater.com), premiering immersive 3-10 minute audio plays. Christine Snow is an improv performer and shared the stage with Christine Stoddard in the ensemble comedy show "Donna and Darilyn's Pitbull Lounge" created by the late great Beverly Bonner at The Broadway Comedy Club.
Christine Stoddard (she/her) is an actor, writer, director and artist based in Brooklyn and originally from Virginia. She is the author of "Quail Tales" and other plays, such as the award-winning drama "Mi Abuela, Queen of Nightmares." She starred in her arthouse feature, Sirena's Gallery (Summer Hill Entertainment), which she also directed, and her short Bottled, which is now streaming on Amazon Prime. Her longish short Naomi & The Reckoning is available on Vimeo On Demand and her feature Her Garden is forthcoming. Recent stage credits include shows at Theater for the New City, Greenwich Village Comedy Club, and Broadway Comedy Club. She is the founder of Quail Bell.
